RARE SOVIET HORSE GAS MASK / RESPIRATOR WITH BOX WWII / COLD WAR CAVALRY ORIGINAL. Status as on pictures. This is a very rare nice original relic WWII / Cold War Soviet Red horse gas mask / respirator + goggles with wooden box (Box size: 300mm x 300mm x 200mm) Never used. This horse gas mask is very similar in design to the WWII version, probably used also at the end of WWII. Like most horse respirators, this mask was probably used in conjunction with a gas proof cape and leggings. The mask fit over the horse’s snout, and was then strapped to the animal’s head via a series of belts. Used by Soviet / Red Army Cavalry soldier during WWII / Cold War.
