There is no functionality problem in the masks or the filter. Filter may come in different colors. We do not control the colors as they are sealed but we know from experience that they are produced in various colors, usually but not always black. All colors have the same functionality. The mask has large anti-fog lens, providing a wide field of view while greatly reducing fogging. Fogging will still occur, however it will be significantly less than other masks without the anti-fogging feature. This mask offers some of the best protection in terms of skin and face covering compared to other masks. As shown in the pictures, the mask completely covers all of the face including eyes, nose, mouth, and forehead. This mask also has a dedicated voice box which allows for clear communication with a notably less muffled sound. Your voice may still sound slightly muffled, however the voice box allows for substantially improved communication compared to a mask without a voice box. This mask can also be easily removed due to the strong clips which additionally also allows it to be fully adjustable so that the mask will fit most people! The Filter that is included is a NATO-approved filter which is SEALED. The filter was not produced this year and was obtained via surplus. These masks were often employed by law enforcement, military, and civilians alike during times of respiratory distress which includes protection from tear gas or other chemical irritants of the eyes or mouth. The filters are NATO approved and SEALED. Although these masks have been tested and are recognized as safe, it should be regarded as a collectible.
