Position the centre of head harness on the back of your head and progressively tighten the harness starting with the upper and then with the lower straps. Place palm of hand over mask connector, breathe in and hold breath. The mask should collapse onto face and remain so as long as breath is held. This helps to make sure that an effective seal is achieved. If the mask moves away from your face whilst breath is held, readjust head harness straps and repeat air tightness test. Removing the face mask. Push forward head harness buckle lugs with both thumbs to loosen and release head harness. Gently pull forward to ease mask up and over head. Wash the mask with lukewarm soap water or in an ultrasound tub with EPI-US in 3% watery solution (consult maintenance instructions for details).
