Surplus FM-12 CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear defense) respirator/ gas mask made by AVON rubber in the UK. These masks are still in active-use circulation both in the United States and across the world. This particular mask is currently set up to receive two filters. A cap can be acquired to modify it for single filter use but is not currently included. The right filter attachment needs a new “flapper” rubber valve. A simple plug-and-play part which looks like an umbrella, but important for anyone who wants to use this to its proper capability. Price lowered to reflect part price. Gas mask accepts canisters depending on the desired usage, from painting to JIC (aka “Just in Case”). Multiple sizes and options will be available. The filtering canister can be mounted in three different locations of the mask which makes it adaptable for various applications. Attaching and removing the canister off of the mask is very easy since it comes with DIN-threaded 40 mm connectors. These masks are available in small, medium, and large: 759020, 769020, and 779020, respectively. Sperian CBRN gas mask is compatible with canister model 168800 and 169000. Sperian 168800 canister model is used for riot control. This mask also features. Durable, chemical resistant butyl rubber face skirt. Anti-scratch coated polycarbonate lens.
