Vintage Scottoramic Gas Mask Respirator Kit – Complete w/ Bag & Instructions. Produced in Lancaster, NY. This full-face respirator features a wide “Panoramic” face lens, attached to filter canister, original carry bag, and instruction sheet, making it a complete set. Masks were made in 1950s-1970s (Cold-War era style) commonly used for civil defense, industrial safety, and emergemcy preparedness. Not military, instead was an “everyday protection gear” during the Cold War for fear of nuclear fallout and industrial disasters.
