These respirators have never been used and were part of old stock storage. Head harness, straps, seals, and hardware remain in excellent unused condition. No filter canisters are included. Produced in the late 20th century. The exact manufacture year is not marked. Ideal for industrial safety, painting, chemical work, display, prop use, or collector purposes. Most old gas masks you find are missing half the story. This one brought the whole cast. Vintage MSA Type GMP gas mask set with the full-face mask, harness, canisters, original hard case, paperwork, tags, and protective lens label still together. The condition is exceptionally clean, with strong graphics and very little obvious wear. Made by Mine Safety Appliances Company of Pittsburgh, it is a striking piece of industrial history with serious display appeal for an MSA, mining, gas mask, or oddities collection. Equal parts old-school engineering and what on earth is that? It has not been tested or represented as suitable for respiratory protection. This full-face respirator features a wide “Panoramic” face lens, attached to filter canister, original carry bag, and instruction sheet, making it a complete set. Masks were made in 1950s-1970s (Cold-War era style) commonly used for civil defense, industrial safety, and emergemcy preparedness. Not military, instead was an “everyday protection gear” during the Cold War for fear of nuclear fallout and industrial disasters.
