I’m assuming this was issued to members of the civil service. Vintage 1940’s Civil Service Gas Mask P. This is in very good condition for the age of the item, The rubber is excellent and has not degraded or cracked. It remains subtle and flexible and there is no damage around strap rivets. There is some tarnishing and surface wear to the visible metal around the eye glasses and nose section. The head straps and elastics are also very good.
