This is a real complete Mickey Mouse gasmask from ww2/wwII. It’s made for children use and were for kids in UK. The name comes from the American Mickey Mouse who was actually designed by Walt Disney. The story for the US mask was to make kids want to wear it because it’s Mickey Mouse and not a scary respirator. UK designed their mask with sharp colors so it looked more friendly. Later they also called it Mickey Mouse, but it never made sense and not even today because there is non Mickey Mouse look at the mask. This is a non used gasmask with intact filter. UK used blue asbestos in their mask, also activated charcoal and this mask contains it. Paper, instructions, mask and box are in the one of the finest shapes you can find and is a valuable historical piece from ww2.
